PROJECT COORDINATOR AT BIOVALOR, IMPLEMENTED BY MIEM, MVOTMA AND MGAPMaria José is the project coordinator of Biovalor "Generating Value with Agroindustrial Waste" implemented by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM), the Ministry of Housing, Land use planning and Environment (MVOTMA) and the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP) in Uruguay, which is currently seeking to deepen the concept of Circular Economy. She was Executive Director of Cempre Uruguay and has extensive experience in environmental consultancy for industries, companies and public agencies, as well as counselling and teaching in the area of cleaner production and solid waste. María José is an Environmental Civil Engineer with a Masters in Environmental Engineering from the University of the Republic UdelaR.
