Ruben García

ADVISOR OF DIRECTION, NATIONAL DIRECTORATE OF ENERGY - MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY, ENERGY AND MINERY

Ruben currently holds the position of National Deputy Director of Energy at the National Directorate of Energy, MIEM (Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining) of Uruguay. In the public sector, he was a Professional Advisor at the Renewable Energy Area of ​​the National Directorate of Energy, MIEM (Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining), during years 2010-2014. He teaches the subject Quality Costs at the Uruguayan Institute of Technical Standards (UNIT) and, in the private sphere, has provided consulting services to different organizations.

Ruben holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development, Renewable Energies, Agenda 21 and Corporate Social Responsibility from EUDE, European School of Management and Business (Madrid, Spain) and holds a Degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of the Republic of Uruguay. He holds a Technical degree in Foreign Trade from CO.CAP (Professional Training Council) and a Technical and specialist degree in quality management UNIT-ISO 9000 from UNIT.
